How it works:
Click here for a list of "aggregators"
We record a show and save it digitally as an mp3 file. We then place it on the computer that hosts our website so that it is available via the internet.
Using an “aggregator” program (such as iTunes) you can then “subscribe”. Your “aggregator” program will then use the information in the "RSS feed" to locate these audio files and download new ones when they become available.
By subscribing to the files you get them as soon as they are available and can then listen to them whenever is convenient. Many podcast listeners have a portable digital music player (such as an iPod) to which the podcast can be transferred. This is a simple process and in a program like iTunes will occur automatically any time you connect your iPod to your computer.
Alternatively, you could listen to a "streaming" version of the audio file online in real time.
